Parenting Workshop: Raising Children with Respect
Shereen Canady
Shereen Canady, PreSchool Director
Jacksonville Jewish Center Preschool

The Early Childhood Department of the Jacksonville Jewish Center has over 50 years of providing quality programs to Jewish children in the community, regardless of synagogue affiliation. We are proud to be accredited by the Florida Kindergarten Council. Our preschool offers a safe, nurturing and stimulating first school experience for young children. Our program is distinguished by its outstanding teaching staff and a creative curriculum, which provides many opportunities for self expression and personal growth. Each child discovers that this is a place to play, create, make friends, explore and celebrate together. Together, we begin the process of nurturing in each child a healthy sense of self and a love of learning. We offer a full range of classes for preschool children from toddlers through pre-kindergarten.

a Solomon Schechter Day School

Martin J. Gottlieb Day School, a Solomon Schechter school, offers a coeducational program for Kindergarten through Eighth grade.
Established in 1961, MJGDS promotes academic excellence in two languages through a richly integrated curriculum of secular and Judaic studies. Located on the Jacksonville Jewish Center campus, the Day School and Synagogue have a dynamic relationship that provides a welcoming community for the whole family. Devoted and capable teachers provide individual attention and guidance to each child to create outstanding opportunities for academic, social and spiritual growth.
This, along with the values based programming, makes MJGDS a perfect fit for families who want to see their children thrive in a nurturing Jewish environment.
