Jacksonville Jewish Center Preschool
(Toddlers through Pre-K)
The Early Childhood Department of
the Jacksonville Jewish Center has over 50 years of providing quality programs
to Jewish children in the community, regardless of synagogue affiliation. We are proud to be accredited by the
Florida Kindergarten Council. Our
preschool offers a safe, nurturing and stimulating first school experience
for young children. Our program is distinguished by its outstanding teaching
staff and a creative curriculum, which provides many opportunities for self
expression and personal growth. Each child discovers that this is a place to
play, create, make friends, explore and celebrate together. Together, we begin
the process of nurturing in each child a healthy sense of self and a love of
learning. We offer a full range of classes for preschool children from toddlers
through pre-kindergarten.
Our
program is designed to nurture the social, emotional and intellectual development
of every child. Our day includes child-centered
as well as teacher directed activities. From
art time to story time, from singing Hebrew songs to visiting the school
library, from cooking in the kitchen to eating nutritious, kosher food, from
playing on the beautiful playgrounds to taking a nap, your child will be
challenged and nurtured.
If you
